KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

New Product Sourcing (60%)

Perform sourcing of new specialised complementary medical products for Malaysia, Singapore & Indonesia to fuel the company’s growth plan via meeting up with potential business partners or assisting in business acquisition.
Perform new potential business partner identification/evaluation and on-going management.
Meet up & present the company to new potential business partners.
Perform feasibility studies and analyses to evaluate product/ partner attractiveness including PEST analysis, market access, competitor benchmarking, sales forecasting, and financial simulation for Malaysia, Singapore & Indonesia.
Prepare a business plan or business case on the product of interest based on the results of feasibility studies & analysis done.
Present the business plan or business case to internal & external stakeholders for buy-in.
Work closely with Regulatory Affairs to ensure timely product registration.
Ensure smooth handover for pre-launch preparation by working closely with internal (regulatory affairs, supply chain, sales force effectiveness, sales & marketing) & external (principal) stakeholders.

Business Agreements & Renewal (30%)

Ensure business agreement terms and conditions are aligned with the company’s policies, and lead discussions with cross-functional stakeholders to sign-off for 2 (two) business units in EP Plus Group.
If needed, work with an external legal consultant for advice or to include necessary/additional details into business agreements.
Monitor & lead the process for business agreement renewal.

Principal Service (10%)

Act as a point of contact between principals and internal stakeholders to facilitate effective two-way communications.
Project lead in quarterly business reporting.
Project lead in the annual principal survey.
Oversees principal’s visits for business reviews and hosts the meeting.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Science, Biomedical and other allied health sciences.
Candidate with Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies with pharmaceutical industry background can also be considered.
SKILLS
Ability to extract market data from various sources from the industry (eg. IQVIA) with strong analytical skills
Ability to build a strong business case to get buy-in from internal & external stakeholders to secure a business partnership deal
Ability to conduct necessary market survey to gain insights and information from Key Opinion Leaders
Good business acumen; possess business knowledge and able to consider non-bias actions and decisions in a business context of project on-hands
Ability to communicate well to get internal & external buy-in of project on-hands
Ability to negotiate terms & conditions stipulated in business agreements for mutual agreement in a professional way
Good communication & presentation skills, both written and verbal
Highly organized in handling correspondence of emails & documentation procedures.
Open minded & pro-actively involved in the discussion
Equipped with Microsoft Office knowledge
EXPERIENCE
Candidate with prior experience in sales marketing or manufacturing in pharmaceuticals is highly appreciated.
Experience in new product development will be added advantage.
Exposure to regulatory aspects of pharmaceutical & medical device products for the territory of Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia will be added advantage.
Experienced in vetting through business agreements.
